I received a few days ago, june 2012, an English couple driving a classic Austin 7 built in 1929. It was a wonderful surprise and an honor for the Donamaria B&B.
The popular Austin Seven, nicknamed "Baby Austin" was manufactured by the brand of Austin from 1922 to 1939. It was produced 220,000 copies and remains one of the most famous model of the British automobile industry.
Today, a club brings together owners of this car.
There are still about 30,000 copies.

Before arriving in the Basque Country, the couple had crossed the Col du Tourmalet in the Pyrenees at 2115 meters high, with a climb of 1404 meters, average 7.4% and 10.2% maximum.
They told to avoid the heat engine, drive 60 km / h and a maximum of 80 km / h.
